We are a husband/wife team that have had a lifelong career of horses. Our horses are ridden and tried out by us here on the farm - some pass the test..some don't. We try to find out where they are best suited..it is a worthwhile process that helps us find the right horses for our customers. It is important to note that not all trail horses like the ring and not all ring horses like the trail....so, we try them out both ways.
We enjoy finding prospects for our customers - it is rewarding to sell a green unknown and then seeing that horse turned out in the showring at a big show being very competitive! Alot of our repeat business comes from customers that have taken these prospects, made great show/trail/polo horses and sell them then come back for another prospect. We enjoy this type of repeat business and have made many great friends during this process.
It is also especially rewarding to sell a family their first pony and watch the child grow and come back for a bigger and better pony, then come back for a horse, etc...soon these kids are calling for a prospect to make to help pay for college!
We are located approx 10 miles south of Charlottesville, VA off of Rt. 29..

We have various horses and ponies (sometimes we even have a mule on donkey!)on the farm that are for sale. Pictured is our "farm mascot", a spotted donkey jennet named "Babbette"..she is very special to us!
