Testimonials

Over the past 15 years, we have met many, many nice horse people...alot of them started out as customers and became good friends. We appreciate all the business these folks have done with us and we cherish the friendships we have made along the way. Here are some of comments we have received from them:

 Hi Lynda!
My daughter, Mary, and I bought Jeremy Fleet Feet (16.1 bay TB) from you last May.  He has been a wonderful horse for Mary.  When people see him for the first time he takes their breath away.  In our own search for a horse we had become disheartened because other horses we had looked at just didn't pass the test.  You and Jeremy changed all that!  To this day I still marvel that we were able to buy this young, feisty, talented, beautiful gelding from you.  Many, many thanks.

It has been about a year since we got Willi and I wanted to let you know he is doing well.  He was "in training" for a bit last winter and spring but took the summer and fall off (thus the big round middle).  He is such a cutie and a real sweetheart.  Aidan just turned 6 and she is starting to ride him a bit by herself.  We have all enjoyed him and are so thankful that we found him.
Take Care,Vicky

Dear Lynda, Glad to see your website is back up--I enjoy perusing it! Clare, and her cousins and friends, are doing well with Mighty. I've been longing him and long-lining him in addition--he's a very smart
little pony. And perfectly healthy, great feet...just a good guy. Theonly problem we've had is finding tack small enough for him! Thought you'd enjoy a picture of Clare's first show--they placed 2nd in Leadline. Thanks,Hallie and Clare

It's just such a pleasant reminder of just how much the horses mean to me as well as the continued God given privilege to be able to sit on them in our beautiful state.  You have sold me three wonderful, happy horses.  I continually get compliments on each of them.I think Josie is starting her 4th hunting season!!!! Thank you again, Tinker

p.s.  now just find me that blop, diddy, blop, slow happy little jumper girl!

Sonia had a really great clinic with Mary Grantham last night.  I am attaching one of the pics of Hindsight...she is really loving him : )

Dear Lynda;
Wish Upon A Star has truly been a "Star" for 9 year old Spencer.  You made a great match between pony and boy. He has entered 6 shows this spring and has come home as Champion 4 out of the 6.  Most recently they were Champions at the Northeast District 4-H show Gymkhana Junior Pony Division!  She always comes home with blue or red ribbons. Spencer and Star are great friends!  Not bad for a new rider.
Thanks again for all your help,  The Keatons

Kallie is awesome, everything you said and more. I certainly tell everyone about you and the next time we need a good quiet horse/pony you will hear from us. our days of looking all over are done. You give a good name to the "horse traders" of today. Thanks again, it has turned out to be the perfect match for my daughter. thanks - sue in vermont

Dora is the best. We love her to pieces. Brynn got on Saturday morning with two leadlines and rode all over the llama paddock – without ANY assistance. We are so glad to have met you and for you to have found Dora.  We even found a hot pink or purple bridle we are going to order for her.  Ok, not my colors but Brynn will flip. Thanks Linda

Hi Lynda!!!  I'm sorry that it has taken 3 months to send you an update.  Dupont, a.k.a Wes, is doing great.  He has put on some pounds and made friends with the crew.  Wes is a true joy!  We go for trail rides at least once a week and do some ground training once a week.  At the moment we are working on his trailer training... going up the ramp, standind in the trailer, and backing off.  He is really doing well.....  This past weekend we went on a trail ride in Remington.  Wes did awesome!!!  ......Once we got on the trail he was fabulous.  The trail that we took was rocky and the ground was really hard but Wes kept up........  He crossed all the creeks and the fallen trees that we came to......Janice Hatcher

Dear Lynda, We here at the Equestrian Centre at Aviemore would like to thank you for all your help.  Being new to Virginia and starting a new Equestrian center I was spending a lot of time looking at ads for good beginner horses and not finding them.  I rode every horse in VA that bucked, bit and did everything you can imagine.   Then we found your yard.  I told you my plight and gave you a big order to fill. You not only filled the order you exceeded all expectations.   I invite everyone to check out all the beautiful horses we bought from you on our web site www.aviemorehorse.com and feel free to call. I will continue to send people your way and as far as this farm is concerned you folks are the best.  Again thank you for all your hard work and I look forward to working with you in the future Tim and  Teresa  McManus tim.mcmanus@whmtg.com - -1326 Aviemore Lane - Ruckersville, VA 22968

.....We love Shazaam , he can get quite frsky and so is not in the least boring and we have lots to learn, we have a riding teacher (uva student) come out once a week and Bridget plus a friend ( who is far more advanced than B and loves to jump) so Shazamm gets a variety and seems healthy and happy...he has a good winter coat and responds nicely when B calls for him etc...SO thank you again for this sweet guy. - Ruth Kulick

Hi Lynda,Just wanted to say how wonderful SeaSea is! She gets along great with all the dogs and is learning how to nip them when they bother her.She makes the perfect lawn mower too even movesthe toys to get under them by herself! Today was the first time for Jeffrey to ride her and he loved it. I didn't think we would find a pony that would pass all of our tests but she came through with flying colors Jeffrey does anything he wants with her and we are very sure SeaSea would never hurt him.If I hear of anyone looking for ponies I'll be sure to send them your way.Thank You,  Melinda Adamson

Dear Lynda, Julianne and I would like to thank you again for "Nobody's Perfect", aka "Shadow."Julie's college had their intercoligate home horse show last weekend.  They did not have enough horses this year that could fill all the requirements for the many competitions.  Julie was asked if her horses could be brought to the show. We trailered both our 23 year old gentlemen, Golden TeN'Te and Shadow, 3 hours the Saturday before the show.  They were in an unfamiliar paddock and around a multitude of different sights, sounds and smells.  But they buddied up and took everything in stride.  They were schooled that evening in the indoor arena by two or Julie's team mates.  They could not stop talking of how impressed they were of the horses.  They loved how light and responsive Shadow was. The next morning started early.  They each were moved to a stall for the day.  Their competitions did not start until after 12 noon.  The time came and they were warmed up.  We only get to see Julie ride for one competition (her 15 minutes of fame).  But we were able to see the horses perform in six different classes.  We did not care which college drew them.  We were all excited to see them perform.  We were so extremely please to see them do everything that was asked of them.  They both helped their riders to bring in 4th and 5th places.  The old gentlemen even captured a Blue ribbon with his walk, trot rider. After the show Julie was approached by several students.  They wanted to either buy or trade for Shadow.  Julie was flattered, however, she would not even think of letting him go. I have been able to trail ride Shadow.  He took care of me on an 11 mile ride.  He crossed every stream, took every hill, and patiently waited to cross roads. So have a Happy Thanksgiving, and this year we have a lot of things to be thankful for.  This year it includes finding this gentle soul, Shadow.  Helene Simpson

Hi,I just wanted to let you know that twinkie did a great job this weekend. I took him to my niece's 8th birthday party and he did great. About 10 kids rode him with no problem at all. I also wanted to let you know that I gave your number to my trainer,
she has someone who is looking for a pony. Katelynn is going to start taking lessons this week on Twinkie, she is
so happy. Thank you again for everything, Julia Tansley

The ponies are great.  The bay gelding just went to a show last weekend and he did the Mini stirrup, he was 2 seconds & 2 fifths out of 11 ponies.  I was soooo happy, they are both great.  Thank you again.  I will keep you up to date.
