14h Appy Gelding - quiet enough for any beginner!!!
Apache is a 14h Appaloosa gelding. He is being ridden daily by children from ages 5 to 10. He w/t/c in his English lessons and w/j/l in his western lessons and neckreins. He steers well, listens and is responsive with a good whoa. Will stand in the crossties with 5 kids grooming and picking feet (I have witnessed this!). Apache stands while he is tacked by the little ones and then waits patiently while they mount up! He has trotted ground poles and also done steering exercises and obstacle courses. In his past life, he was a trail horse and has no spook whatsoever. Lovely pony..a real must for any beginner!
